The GPS Gold Challenge is the largest GPS Old Boy event. Held every 2 years for Old Boys of the nine NSW GPS Schools who have reached, or about to reach, the age of 50 years, ie this years event is for 1983 and 198 school leavers. The format is a two day sporting festival culminating in a dinner for 6-700 people at Riverview. The event aims to rekindle friendships among former class mates, develop new contacts among the GPS fraternity and raise some money for Redkite.
Golf and shooting are held on Friday 30th and the other 8 events on Saturday the 1st. The dinner is on the Saturday and is not to be missed.
If you talk to the old boys in the years above who have participated in previous years they will tell you what an absolutely brilliant weekend it is.
More information is on the official website at http://www.gpsgoldchallenge.com.au/GPS_Gold_Challenge_201/Welcome.html
Please note that this is the October long weekend (you’ll need both Sunday and Monday to recover) so some forward planning will be required to make sure you are free.
Registration will be through the website above but is not yet available.
